What happens during your first visit (Consultation)

Are you looking for help with your aches and pains?

Once you've booked your initial consultation with us, you will receive a confirmation email with a google maps link so you can find our practice easily. We have onsite parking right outside our front door! There will also be a link to an online Consultation Form to be completed before your visit, so we're fully briefed and ready to look after you.

When you come in for your appointment we'll show you a quick video so that you have all the information regarding our processes so you can make any decisions about your care with informed consent.

Your Consultation Includes

  • A recap of your reason for visiting

  • Physical Examination

  • Neurological tests

  • Taking a posture picture

  • Chiropractic care (only if safe and appropriate)

After your Consultation, Laura will review the notes she has made and invite you back for a Report of Findings visit. Here she will discuss:

  • What your physical examination and tests have shown

  • Explain what your posture picture shows

  • Assess how you have responded to any care given at your consultation

  • From the information above, give you your tailored recommendations

  • The opportunity to start your care at this appointment

Our recommendations vary on an individual basis with regards to frequency of appointments but will include a full review of your progress at scheduled Wellbeing checks.

Adjustment Visits

  • Adjustment appointments are part of your ongoing care.

  • Laura will monitor your progress at these visits

  • They are a further opportunity to ask questions about your careThey allow you to review any stretches or exercise that have been recommended as part of your care

Wellbeing check visits

  • This appointment is to assess how you have responded to your Chiropractic care

  • Laura will repeat some of the same examinations and tests performed at the consultation

  • Comparing the data will allow you to review your progress to date

  • Laura will review your recommendations and discuss your ongoing care
