It's almost crazy season!

So what plans can you put in place to make this winter season a little easier and less stressful?

I think we can all agree that this is the last thing you want at any point, but especially at this time of the year. But now is the ideal time to get some good habits and routines perfected to help you stay one step ahead of the crazy!

So what can you do?

–          Plan ahead – what can you do now to get ahead of the game? Our little secret? Each month (not just in December) we make sure we have a weekend free. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, is allowed to go in the diary for that weekend. In December, this weekend will be 21/22 December so we have time to chill out and prep for Christmas.

–          Create a good exercise routine: a 30 minute walk each day can dramatically improve your mental health and help you de-stress. Moving your body literally helps shift the stress rather than being stuck and caught up in the stress.

–          Drink plenty of water: It can be the time of the year where we are eating richer foods and drinking a bit more alcohol. To help your body deal with this, drinking more water can help flush the extra salt and toxins out of your body quicker.

–          Chiropractic adjustments: of course I was going to mention this one! Stress can cause negative changes to your posture and your body. Making sure you keep up with your adjustments will keep your posture on point and feeling good. And if you are super keen, an extra adjustment (on top of your current recommendations), can contribute to making sure you’re comfortable and mobile for Christmas.
